Additional Property Attributes

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment KDHE conducted a Phase I Brownfields Targeted Assessment BTA at the former Smoky Hill Army Airpbase property in Salina, Saline County, KS. The BTA was conducted for the Salina Airport Authority to evaluate a property with unknown environmental conditions. Utilizing the Brownfields Program, the City opes to encourage a new long term tenant on the property. No RECs were identified.

Former Use: US Army, Air Force, and Department of Defense until transfer to Salina Airport Authority City of Salina in 1965.
