Additional Property Attributes

Former film storage warehouse known as the Erbograph Building was demolished in 2010. The property is currently being constructed with an 8 story 65-unit LEED Certified senior housing apartment complex. The property was under construciton during CDMs site asssessment, however, CDM did identify historic contamination as a REC. Prior to demolition GZA GeoEnvironmental GZA identified soil contaminated with metals and/or PAHs and VOCs beneath the subslab of the former Erbograph building. Hazardous building materials such as ACM, LBP, PCBs and mercury were alos identified by GZA. It is not known if remedial activities relacted to the contaminationed were conducted.

Former Use: Film storage warehouse w/numerous owners during lifetime. Retained by City of New York via tax lein foreclosure in 1991. Current owner: W146th St Snr Housing Dev Fund Corp
