Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is comprised of Block 2040 Lot 61 and Lot 48. Lot 61 was developed in the early 1900s as the Manhattan Casino which was later converted to the Rockland Palace followed by an indoor roller skating rink. The roller skating rink was razed in the late 1970s. Lot 48 was first developed as part of an amusement park and later developed with a steam cleaning and dry cleaning operation along with the adjacent property to the east. Dry cleaning operations ceased between 1981 and 1983. All structures were razed between 1995 and 1996. The subject property has been used as a parking lot since the early 2000s. A small portion of the easternmost parcel is used as a recyclable material drop off location.

Former Use: Paved w/minor areas of earth & concrete. Operated as a steam/dry cleaner & recreational facility. Several private owners over history. Owned now by Cactus of Harlem, LLC.
