See ARRA grant 2B 00F08301 for information on the cleanup of this property. Former Use: The subject property is composed of two lots. One lot includes a 1750 square foot structure, which will be demolished. The site's legal location is described as a tract of land in the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 19 North, Range 16 West, Seiling, Oklahoma.The 1750 square foot building was originally located in Alva, OK and was used by the military as barracks. In the 1940's the building was moved to its current location in Seiling. In the past, the building has been used as a meeting place for the American Legion Post 69. The building has not been used in the past five years and before the City of Seiling owned the property,it was owned by the Chester Historical Society.
