Additional Property Attributes

Ancedotal evidence exists of the presence of a gasoline pump and presumably, an underground storage tank at this location. The possible existence of a UST and dispensing equipment represents a materal threat of the release of petroleum products to the soil and/or groundwater in the area.

Former Use: The subject property is currently a vacant building, with asphalt and concrete covered parking lots in the front and rear of the building. The vacant building was most recently used as a carry-out restaurant specializing in sub sandwiches and homemade soup. The property was undeveloped until at least 60 years ago when Hakes Service and Supply, a plumbing and service contractor, was located on the subject property. Subsequent occupants of the property were automiotive-related parts and repair businesses. Information from historical business directories list the address as Import Auto Service from 1966 until 1973, when it was listed as Richer Auto Electric Co. From about 1980 until currently, it was listed as Sully's Sandwich Shop.
