Additional Property Attributes

Phase I reported that there were no recognized environmental conditions that warranted further investigation. This allowed the non-profit group to purchase the property with confidence. The Project is currently in design development phase and will begin construction spring 2006. Nine units of senior housing will be created. (PPF attached to QR 9, 10/1/05-12/31/05)

Former Use: The property is currently undeveloped land consisting of about two acres of hay field and forest land. There are currently no structures or buildings on the property. There is no indication that the property was used for anything other than agricultural land. The property is bordered by Sackett's Brook and property owned by the Putney Paper Company to the east, a mix of residential and commericial office and retail space to the north, south, and west. An automotive repair/gas station is adjacent to the property to the northwest corner of the property. The property has been in the Hendrick's family since 1958 and the current owner acquired the property in 1/4 shares on the following dates: 5/19/1994 from Flora B. Hendricks Estate, 7/28/1994 from Geoffrey Hendricks, 7/28/1994 from Jon Hendricks, and 7/29/1994 from Nathaniel Hendricks. Prior ownership is as follows: Purchase Date Owner 9/5/1958 Flora and Walter Hendricks 8/6/1956 Harley and Alida Sheldon Prior to 8/6/1956 Minnie H. Treadway.
