Additional Property Attributes

Subsurface investigation revealed a moderately significant concentration of TPH-g in soil. VOCs were detected in soil, but only ethylbenzene exceeded screening criteria. Monitoring well installation recommended at upgradient locations of the property to determine the source of the TPHg and VOCs or if contamination is migrating below the property in groundwater from an offsite source.

Former Use: The property was previously used as a storage yard for a pipeline installation contractor and backhoe service. In 1949, the City of Long Beach issued a permit for installation of one 2,000 gallon gasoline UST. The UST was removed fro the property in 1990. The City of Long Beach Fire Department observed a hole in the UST when it was removed in 1990. The site is currently used as a residence, office, and storage area for vehicles and equipment.
