Additional Property Attributes

Ak-Chin Indian Community Environmental Protection Office has identified the subject property as a site of environmental concern due to a former tenant having operated (1994-1998) a thermal treatment facility for TPH- and pesticide-contaminated soils. The tenant went out of business, and multiple soil stockpiles were abandoned at the subject property. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment was performed under this TBA to identify RECs that may require further assessment to determine the potential for public and environmental exposure to contaminants of concern. The Ak-Chin Indian Community plans to redevelop the subject property as part of continued development of the Santa Cruz Commerce Center.

Former Use: Historical and current uses: vacant. The site is on Navajo Nation trust land.
