Additional Property Attributes

Manti City Corporation is evaluating potential uses of the MIBA Building property that would benefit the community, such as green space, a historical park (the property sits within the original Manti Fort boundaries), or a community center, due to its key location along Main Street in downtown Manti. MCC sees this Targeted Brownfields Assessment of the MIBA as an important step in future planning efforts for the property.

Former Use: The MIBA building was built in the 1940s and was used as a parachute manufacturer for World War II.The Manti Improvement Business Association subsequently leased out the MIBA to various companies over the years, until 2002, when they sold the property to the Manit City Corporation.
