Additional Property Attributes

The former Stilwell National Guard Armory was built in 1954. The property was managed and maintained by the Oklahoma Military Department (OMD) on behalf of the State of Oklahoma. Ownership of the subject property has been transferred to the City of Stilwell as of June 15, 2011. The City of Stilwell is currently working on clean up and development of the site for use by the City of Stilwell as a community center and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as a museum. The UST was removed 8-22-95. The cleanup date used in ACRES is for the asbestos, lead-based paint, and lead dust cleanup.
