Immobilization Process (e.g., Encapsulation, In-Situ Solidification)
An encapsulant was applied over lead-based paint on non-friction surfaces. Sod was placed under the drip line of the building, because the soil there contains elevated lead. The encapsulated areas and the sod should be maintained and periodically inspected.

Additional Property Attributes

Asbestos was found in transite panels and lead-based paint was found on the old gas station. The gas station is just one building on the property (only 0.128 acres in size). One underground storage tank (UST) was removed on October 1, 1986. It is estimated that the UST pull cost about $1,000. Two other USTs are still in use at the site.

Former Use: The property contains the historic Tuttle Lumber Yard, which is still in operation, and the former gas station. The gas station is now used by the City of Tuttle as an office.
