Additional Property Attributes

The Rocky Mountain Building is located in the heart of the downtown Great Falls business district and has been vacant since a fire occurred in 2009. Given the prime location of the building, there is great potential to renovate the property and turn it in an economic and community asset. Community benefit, sustainable reuse opportunity, reduction of environmental threats if cleaned up, able to use existing infrastructure Former Use: 1913 Construction of base building. 1949 Additional floors added. 2009 Fire damage occurred and building was left vacant. Building contained: a pharmacy, theater, office space, and a ministry. The building was purchased by Alluvion Health in 2019 to clean up and redevelop to contain their organization which is spread out over numerous buildings. They applied for grant funding to EPA directly, but also applied to GFDA for funding. The GFDA Board approved the clean up request and this will be paid out of program income.
