Additional Property Attributes

Asbestos and mold have been identified as contaminants present at the Site which will require cleanup prior to future development. A structural assessment conducted on the building indicates that it would be unsafe to conduct asbestos abatement by workers in the building. Prior to demolition/asbestos abatement of the building, a variance from CDPHE should be requested to allow asbestos abatement to occur via non-traditional abatement methods.

Former Use: The building was built in 1919 and was a private residence from late-1930s to early 1990s. It was then a hotel for disabled /low income residents until abandoned in the mid 2000s.
