Additional Property Attributes

The property will be used as a part of the Eastview Transformation; Proposed trail will connect the Whitcomb residents (neighborhood and public Housing Project with downtown. This is a proposed 1.2 mile pedestrian and bicycle trail. It will entirely follow a paper street connecting Lebanon Street and Bowling Green Road. A landfill is located 1.5 blocks away to the north and another household landfill to the east. The latter never extended underneath the proposed trail. Testing was recommended due to proximity. Other surrounding land uses are residential streets. The property is heavily wooded with no history of earlier uses.

Former Use: Heavily wooded. City (in the form of street right-of-way) is the only recorded owner. The proposed path is intended to become one link of a city-wide bicycle/pedestrian path throughout the City.
