Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) and EPA partnered to conduct soil testing to facilitate a new community garden at the Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage property in Golden, CO. No contamination was found and DUG and the property owners were able to move forward with the garden.

Former Use: The site was historically used as a bowling alley. The new Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage and an urban garden just opened in October 2014.
