Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Reasonably ascertainable records reviewed as part of this Phase I ESA documented the use of the property back to 1907. Data failure occurred between 1923 and 1932, and between 1942 and 1986. PM has identified the data failure between 1942 and 1986 as a significant data gap. Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the first developed use of the subject property occurred between 1913 and 1923 with a small produce stand in the southeast corner. The stand was removed, and the property was redeveloped with an automotive sales and service garage between 1923 and 1932. Two gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) were associated with the service garage, however they were located in the right-of-way, also known as South Main Street, and not on the actual subject property. The property continued operations as an automotive sales and service garage until at least 1942 (and possibly until the 1980s). The building was demolished by approximately 1986. The property has remained a vacant gravel lot utilized for vehicle parking and storage since that time.
