Additional Property Attributes

Based on the results of the records review, Site reconnaissance, and interviews, there were three on-Site findings, five adjoining property findings, and twenty-three vicinity findings that have the potential to contaminate the Site. Based on an evaluation of the data associated with these findings, the consultant concluded the following: - No on-Site findings are RECs; - One adjoining property, the CITGO Petroleum Corporation Austin Terminal, is a Controlled REC; No other adjoining property findings are RECs; and - No vicinity findings are RECs. Former Use: The Site is located within an area of southeast Austin that is currently used for mixed residential and commercial purposes; historically, industrial land use occurred in this area of Austin. A laser cutting business, auto repair shop and a former tank farm were all possible recognized environmental concerns. The property has been leveled at some point in the past. An orphaned monitoring well was also found onsite. The site has been vacant for many decades with a 1967 aerial photograph showing vacant property and heavily treed.
