Additional Property Attributes

Based upon the presence and amount of 1)SVOCs, the following PAH?s; benzo(a)pyrene (B(a)P), and 2)the following TAL Metal; arsenic (As) at the Site, these analytes were evaluated as potential constituents of concern. Upon closer examination of the data and taking into account site specific uses and exposures for the proposed site, the level of metal?s (As) and PAH?s (B(a)P) were determined to not present any excess risk to the users of the Site. The levels of metals and PAHs observed are well within what would be expected in a highly urbanized area. B(a)P is a contaminant that is common in urban areas, as they are a product of combustion. The levels of As observed are well within what is the naturally occurring levels seen in the Front Range geological area of Colorado.

Former Use: Yhe Site was previously a residence constructed in approximately 1963 that was vacated sometime prior to 1970. From approximately 1976 to sometime prior to 1991 the Site was used by DU for various offices and university related programs. The building was then demolished and redeveloped into a parking and staging area for construction materials used by the University. The Site is currently owned by DU.
