Additional Property Attributes

The property and building are currently owned by Lawrence and Tanya Hu, operating as Dimond Printing, a commercial gravure printing company since 1985. The Site has historically operated as a garage, auto body paint and repair center, and a bowling alley.

Former Use: No previous investigations were conducted at the Site that included the collection of environmental samples. Chemicals potentially used or stored at the Site during historic operations do not appear to impact current conditions at the Site, as there are no reported tanks and no known historical releases to the environment. Observations made during the assessment identified significant ink spillage on the facility floor causing staining, which appeared to be surficial and no odors or employee complaints were reported. The Site was not listed in any of the federal regulatory databases reviewed, but is listed in three state or local regulatory databases, pertaining to the off-site disposal of photo processing waste, an air discharge permit, and the site history as an auto repair shop. Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP) are likely present at the Site based on the construction age of the building, but no friable ACM or loose paint chips were observed.
