Additional Property Attributes

The Nissen property is owned by Crossen Nissen Company and is used as farm/agricultural land. It is located across Highway 2 from the former Equity Co-op Bulk Plant property in Harlem, MT. The Former Equity Co-op property had a confirmed release many years ago, and the petroleum plume was confirmed by DEQ to have extended underneath the highway and at least into the right-of-way to the south of the highway. Additional sampling is necessary to determine the extent of the plume on the Nissen property.

Additional sampling is necessary to determine the extent of the plume on the Nissen property. It is anticipated that only a very small portion of the Nissen property, that sits adjacent to the highway and across from the former Equity Co-op, is affected by petroleum contamination.
