Additional Property Attributes

Since purchasing the property in 2007, Royal and Nancy Westervelt have operated the Neihart Inconvenience Store. The store sells groceries, tobacco, clothing, and miscellaneous essential items and dry goods. They do not sell any diesel or gasoline. It is the only grocery store in Neihart.

Former Use: No known impacts from hazardous substances have been documented. However, the reported dates of building construction imply that asbestos and lead-based paint may be present on the property. Release 4206 was last investigated on April 13th and 14th of 2013. 7 wells were present on site and 6 were sampled. It appears that most of the wells came back clean save for wells 6 and 7. MW-6 shows exceedances for benzene @ 22 ppb, naphthalene at 111 ppb, C9-C10 aromatics @ 3020 ppb, C5-C8 Aliphatics @ 5300 ppb, C9-C12 Aliphatics @ 3400 ppb, TPH @ 10800 ppb, and TEH @ 2920 ppb. (Gas) MW-7 shows exceedances for C19-C36 aliphatics @ 5220 ppb, C5-C8 Aliphatics @ 1560 ppb, C9-C18 Aliphatics @ 1600 ppb, TPH @ 2420 ppb, and TEH @ 12000 ppb. (Weathered gas and lubricating oil)
