Additional Property Attributes

The Site is approximately trapezoidal in shape and contains two commercial structures and several exterior storage areas and or shade structures. The two-story structure on the eastern side of the parcel is a former automotive repair shop of approximately 2,012 square feet and the single story structure on the western side of the parcel is a former restaurant of approximately 619 square feet. The remaining portions of the lot are predominantly paved with asphalt and concrete pavement. An historical streetcar track transects the southern portion of the Site, running from east to west. The Site is in a mixed institutional, commercial, and residential setting. The Site is in a mixed institutional, commercial, and residential setting.

Former Use: Based on a review of historical records, the primary uses of the Site have been as a gasoline service station and automobile repair shop on the eastern portion and auto accessories shop and restaurants on the western portion. The first development on the property occurred between 1921 and 1925 with the development of a gasoline service station in the eastern portion of the property. In 1943 the gasoline service station was relocated to a different address. By 1950, an automotive repair shop was operating. By 1969, the structure was demolished and a new repair shop, which was in operation until 2016, was built
