Additional Property Attributes

The Phase II was conducted to determine the presence of asbestos in 5 buildings and soil vapors from an adjacent former landfill. All of the buildings had asbestos contamination present, but there were no landfill gases present on the property from the adjacent landfill. The buildings have since been cleaned and demolished and new construction for the Arroyo Village is underway. The redevelopment will include a 50-bed womens shelter, 35 one-bedroom permanent supportive housing apartments, and 95 workforce apartment units. Note, exact cleanup dates are not known by EPA and approximate dates were used.

Former Use: The 5 buildings on-site were constructed between 1925 and 1982 and have been used as residential properties or for various social services.
