Additional Property Attributes

The property consists of a former motel and office that are now vacant and asphalt parking. The TBA found asbestos containing materials in the structures. The City of Lamar would like to help the private property owner clean and demolish the structures so the property can be redeveloped.

The City of Lamar is being the gifted the property from the private property owner, and would like to characterize the site, remediate it, and demolish the structures so the property can be redeveloped.

ACM abatement and demo completed June 2021 and received $78,000 CDPHE Grant and matched with $77,000 in direct and in-kind costs.
