Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property appears to have existed as two small structures of land from at least 1904 to until approximately 1914. From approximately 1914 to 1952, the Property consisted of two large structures. Various stores occupied the two structures from 1952 until circa 2014. The structures were destroyed by a large fire that occurred on November 18, 2019. The resulting burn debris was found to include asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint. Subsequently, the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection's (NDEP's) Brownfields Program was asked to assist with cleaning up the debris. NDEP's Brownfields Program performed a supplemental Phase II assessment and a cultural resources inventory to prepare the site for cleanup. The burn debris was ultimately excavated and hauled to the local landfill by a private entity.
