Additional Property Attributes

This property is located next to the old fire hall which was assessed through the Department of Environmental Quality assessment program and is being looked at by the Crawford CRA for purchase and redevelopment. The city would like to make this project a catalyst for further downtown investment. The property was previously a bowling alley and telephone building and is located in the heart of the downtown. Former Use: The history was previously a bowling alley and an old telephone building until recently it was locked in a legal battle. The owner got it assessed as soon as the site ownership was solidified. Clean up for this site is recommended because there were several contaminants found in the soil and groundwater above the state cleanup level. Contaminats found include lead, arsenic, chloroform, TEH as waste oil, and mercury
