Additional Property Attributes

This property was a gas station from the 1920s(?) to about the 1960s, when the past owner's father stopped selling gas and started using it to store furniture for his furniture business. When he passed away, he left the station to his daughter, who continued to use it for storage and hope that she could sell it to someone who would take care of it. The new owner's purchased the facility with hopes to turn it into something beneficial for the City of Okemah under the OCC's 2020 Assessment Grant. Phase 1 Completed Dec 2019. REC for petroleum, but site closed out for petroleum under the OCC Petroleum Storage Tank Division May 2022. Possible ACM and lead in building materials remains on the site.
