Additional Property Attributes

This small parcel was formerly a Kerr-McGee gas station (Facility ID 55-00174). In 1986 there were 4 USTs on site. A 1988 tank removal report stated the station was upgraded with three 10,000-gallon fiberglass product tanks. In 1990, the station closed for business. In June of 1991, a 330-gallon waste oil tank was removed. From September 29 to October 5, 1993, the three 10,000 gallon tanks were removed, and were found to be in excellent shape. According to the report, "TPH as gasoline was detected above 50 ppm in 3 of the 4 soil samples collected from the line trenches. Two of the soil samples exceed action levels for benzene. The sources of potential hydrocarbon impact have been removed from this " On October 29, 1993, case #064-0970 was opened at this Facility, and StanTech was hired as consultant. On September 23, 1999, the case was approved for closure, but Kerr-McGee wanted to keep up the monitoring and remediation via air sparge system. On March 9, 2001, Case 064-0970 was finally closed.
