Additional Property Attributes

As of the 2021 phase II, the property consists of a 0.132-acre lot with one 3,950 square foot one-story building built in 1935. One unspecified alteration or remodel occurred in 2004. The known historical use of the building was for commercial purposes. In 2021, the parcel was acquired by the City of Missoula. The 20221 phase II ESA found asbestos containing building materials, lead based paint, mercury containing thermostats and PCB containing light fixtures. Anticipated future use of the subject property is to be remodeled for temporary office space for the Missoula Water utility, with eventual demolition of the building and redevelopment as part of the West Broadway Gateway Master Plan.
