Additional Property Attributes

The Site is located on Main Street in Lake Village, Arkansas, approximately 1,500 feet west of Lake Chicot. The Site is comprised of a 1.04-acre commercial parcel, recently improved with a solar farm in the southeastern and central portions that is secured by chain link fencing. The northern portion of the Site is vacant, and the western portion contains the concrete foundation of an apparent former service station. There are currently no buildings on Site.
The Site was originally developed prior to 1908 with commercial properties in the western and southern portions. Between 1917 and 1928, structures associated with commercial development in the western portion of the Site were removed. Between 1928 and 1943, a filling station and an auto repair facility were constructed in the western portion and a tractor repair facility began operating in the eastern portion of the Site. In the 1950 Sanborn Map, the former tractor repair facility is listed as automotive sales and service.
The service station and auto repair buildings in the western portion of the Site were demolished between 1994 and 2000 and the tractor and auto repair buildings in the eastern and northern portions of the Site were removed between 1975 and 1994.
