Based on the geophysical findings, START V recommends that more direct methods of investigation be
conducted to further assess the nature and extent of the features. Such proposed
methods may include excavation of exploratory trenches, test pits, and soil borings to confirm the source
of the anomalies and to evaluate soil for the presence of chemicals of potential concern associated with
past Site activities.
