Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is currently a vacant lot being used as a community garden with raised beds. The subject property is located within the Omaha Lead Superfund Site and has been assessed by EPA for lead contamination. Four soil samples were collected in April 2010, and the results showed lead concentrations ranging from 375 to 777 parts per million (ppm). The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Remediation Goal (RG) for residential soil is 400 ppm. The NDEE VCP RG was exceeded in three of the four soil samples. As of March 2, 2023, the Omaha Lead Registry indicates that soil remediation has yet to take place at the subject property.
