Additional Property Attributes

Local representatives in the community note the building was constructed by farmers in the area and donated to the town for community use. The specific date of acquisition of the property is unknown. Based on the anticipated reuse of the site, an asbestos and lead-based paint survey was necessary to determine whether abatement was required prior to renovation, which includes expansion of the building. Asbestos-containing materials were identified and subsequently abated in areas of the building planned for renovation. The Fish Lake Valley Community Center renovation activities include expansion of the building requiring demolition of interior walls to increase occupancy of the main meeting hall.
