Additional Property Attributes

This property is a site with Release #528 regualted under the Montana DEQ Petroleum Tank Cleanup Program. This property was formerly a gas station, Rainbow Texaco, in the 1960s and 1970s. Tanks were removed from the property in the early 1980s. The gas station was demolished and the property was subsequently redeveloped as a Bank 1980s to present. At the time of the Phase II assessment, First Interstate Bank owned the property, however, the building was unoccupied and the property was listed for sale. Conditions impeding redevelopment include underlying soil and groundwater petroleum contamination, and the associated MT DEQ required cleanup.
