Additional Property Attributes

The 0.1-acre subject property consists of one parcel currently occupied by a concrete slab and asphalt parking surface. The subject property is on the "main street" corridor of Tooele, Utah. Historically, it has been occupied by a church, and then a dry-cleaning facility identified as NU Cleaners. The subject property also appears to have been used concurrently with D&S Glass and Walker Monument. The property is owned by Tooele County. After completing soil gas and soil sampling on the subject property, significant levels of TCE and PCE were found on site. Only PCE was consistently above EPA residential VISLs in soil vapor from all sample locations. TCE, a breakdown product of PCE, exceeded EPA residential VISLs in soil vapor from two sample locations. Future uses of the site being considered are commercial or residential housing.
