Additional Property Attributes

The City of Rutland acquired this property through a tax sale with no bidders. The neighborhood is very focused on getting this blight cleaned up and rehabilitated. The city plans to work with the Grantee to fully assess the property. They plan to redevelop the property as a greenspace and gateway into the downtown. (PPF attached to QR 9, 10/1/05 - 12/31/05 of A03 grant) Three USTs were found to have leaked extensively into the ground. Additional Phase II work has been conducted. The State has indicated that institutional controls that limit development of any permanent structures on the property and installation of a soil cap would be adequate for the intended end use. Actual Corrective Action Plan development is in process via another Petroleum Assessment grant BF 97159901(PPF attached to QR 4, 7/1/06 - 9/30/06 of A05 grant)
