Property Highlights

Multiple phases of assessment have been performed to identify sources of contamination and determine the extent of ground water contamination. Off site impacts have been documented.

Former Use: The property previously was owned by Watertown Gas Company until 01/1943 when it was acquired by the City of Watertown and operated as a coal gasification plant. The property has been vacant for many years and a portion has been used a gravel parking lot. Adjacent to the site the property has been unused for years due to the presence of contamination.
