Additional Property Attributes

The property is anticipated to be purchased by the City of Beatrice for domlition of on-site structures and redevelopment of the site as green space. This effort is part of a city plan to clear developments from properties located within designated flood hazard areas and is being conducted in cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) (PPF - 09/25/06)

Former Use: John's Upholstery has been operated as an upholstery shop since the 1960s. Prior to the 1960s the building was utilized as a fruit stand. Prior to the fruit stand the property was owned by Dempster Mill Manufacturing Co., however, there was no evidence that Dempster used to the site for manufacturing activities. Prior to Dempster the site was residential
