Additional Property Attributes

The property is anticipated to be purchased by the City of Beatrice for demolition of on-site structures and redevelopment of the site as green space. This effort is part of a city plan to clear developments from properties located within designated flood hard areas and is being conducted in cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) (PPF - 09/25/2006)

Former Use: Prior to the current use of the Baker-Harrell property as an auto body shop operated by John Saathoff, the property was utilized as a body shop, the site was a blacksmith shop and prior to the blacksmith shop the property was a residence. Adjoining property to the west of the subject property was historically a machine shop.
