Additional Property Attributes

Recognized environmental conditions were identified. The city directory identified the former existence of an asphalt plant on the subject property from at least 1954 through 1981. Historical Sanborn maps identified the former existence of a foundry and an asphalt plant on the subject property. Oil storage tanks were identified on the subject property during the time it was used as an asphalt plant. Aerial photographs identified significant land disturbances over a significant time period.

Former Use: The property is located in Covington on the western bank of the Licking River in a predominantly industrial and residential area. The property is located outside the floodwall for the City of Covington. A one-story l and shell structure on a concrete slab constructed around 1990 is located on the property. An asphalt plant existed on the property from at least 1954 through 1981. An iron foundry was also previously located on the property sometime in the late 19th century.
