Additional Property Attributes

Lead-based paint was found peelnig from the walls and needs to be collected and properly disposed. Asbestos (non-friable) was found in the floor tile and can be left in place/considered safe for human health. If renovated the asbestos tile needs to abated. (PPF - Linn County Jail, 10/30/2006)

Former Use: Linn County Jail Museum was utilized as a jail from 1871-1970 and as a museum from 1976 to present. Two buildings are on the property.
