Property Highlights

Soil was excavated and an underground tank removed from this site. Confirmation samples collected underneath the buried tanker indicated only atrazine concentrations exceeded the Voluntary Cleanup Program remediation goals for the direct contact exposure pathway for an industrial site. Site needs further assessment to determine whether additional cleanup is needed. Cleanup removed immediate risk only. The site is currently used only as a ground surface lot. Future use is currently undetermined.

Former Use: Grain Storage, fertilizer and herbicide distribution/mixing facility. 9/8/08- Former location of Atlanta Elevator, Inc. operated as a herbicide/fertilizer manufacturer and grain elevator 2/10/12 - Atlanta Elevator, Inc. transfers ownership of the property via quit claim deed to Robert and Sheryl McClymont.
