Additional Property Attributes

PAHs found in soil samples and Benzene found in ground water monitoring. levels did not exceed VAP standards, however, the site reached closure through BUSTR by placing institutional controls on the site. Redevelopment of the former GDF area can not include residential use, potable water wells or no below grade building foundations.

Former Use: The property is approximately 1.03 acres and consists of 12 parcels of vacant land. No structures are present, however there are several acres of concrete present from the former building foundations. The property has been used for a variety of purposes since the original structure was built in 1936, including: residential dwelling, various "stores", auto repair, garage, auto sales, creamery, barber shop, second hand furniture store, heating and sheet metal, gasoline filling station, filling station training school, tin shop, candy factory, hall, greenhouse, and convent.
