Additional Property Attributes

Phase I ESA report submitted to EPA on November 14, 2007.

Former Use: The Site was formerly operated as a dry cleaning facility (Holdens Cleaners) from at least 1970 through 1980. Operation as a dry cleaning facility may have extended into the 1980s, but as of 1990, dry cleaning operations had been discontinued. The site is also located down gradient from known or potentially contaminated historic sites including gasoline service stations, automotive repair facilities, and a printing facility. The City of Raleigh purchased the Site for future redevelopment in the area and in response to neighborhood complaints associated with the Site once it became idle.
