Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property was part of the Armour & Company meat packing plant operations from its development in approximately 1918. Specifically parcel B contained a portion of a coal storage area, a portion of a maintenance garage, multiple railroad sidings, a large parking surface, and multiple petroleum storage areas. Armour closed in 1979 and was sold to Kasson Realty. Kasson leased portions of the facility to various tenants, primarily for storage. The South St. Paul HRA purchased the facility in approximately 1988 and began demolition of the former buildings in approximately 1989.
