The property is currently vacant. Two adjacent property owners have been interested in purchasing the property but due to historical activities the interested parties would not consider purchasing the property. The Bismarck Public Schools will be negotiating with the parties as this property can now be redeveloped.

Former Use: Manufactured Gas Plant that operated from November 1916 through 1930 when it was converted to natural gas. Used as a service center from the late 1950s until the early 1980s. Used for facilities and transportation operations from early 1980s until 2003. Owned by Bismarck Gas Company until 1930 when purchased by Montana Dakota Utilities. Pruchased by the Bismarck Public Schools in the early 1980s.
