Property Highlights

The subject property is currently undeveloped. The site is heavily overgrown and direct observation of much of the site was not possible. A Harris County Flood Control HCFC ditch traverses the property from NW to SE connecting into Sims Bayou to the south of the property. Silt fencing was observed along the northern property boundary, and it appeared that the property to the north is elevated by a few feet above the subject property from the addition of fill material. Mr. Peacock indicated that the property actually belongs to Maryfield, Ltd., which purchased the property from Union Pacific Railroad on 12/12/2001 for development. The subject property is a portion of a larger 169.4193-acre tract owned by Maryfield, Ltd. No development of the subject property has taken place since they purchased the property. Mr. Peacock also indicated that he did not know of any improvements structures or railroad tracks, etc. conducted by Union Pacific. When questioned about any previous site assessment work, he indicated that the only information he was aware of were the three reports Wetlands Assessment 2001 Soil Sampling 2202 and Soil Sampling Trash & Drum Storage 2003, by Wayne J. Crouch Environmental Services that were provided. Property is being considered for a Youth Sports Facility Complex. Update on the development status will be added in the future.

Former Use: According to Mr. Peacock, Maryfield, Ltd. purchased the property on 12/12/2001 from Union Pacific Railroad. No other historical ownership information was provided.
