Additional Property Attributes

The assessment of this parcel and the resulting lack of RECs found allowed it to be combined with a portion of the adjacent parcel. This combination resulted in a space where the YMCA is building a new state of the art LEED-certified facility.

Former Use: The site consists of an approximately 0.58-acre triangular lot proposed for subdivision situated within the northern corner of the larger 5.75-acre parcel E-1358. The site includes undeveloped land with direct access from the larger parcel to West Hollis Street. The site is partially enclosed by a chainlink fence on the northeastern and northwestern sides preventing access from the adjoining municipal athletic complex to the north. The southern side of the site is open to the adjoining paved parking area to the south that is associated with the Pratt Homes elderly housing development. The majority of the site is densely forested with boulder or rock outcrops observed within the northern most portion of the site and has cleared portions along the fringes of all sides of the site. Based on available site records, the site has been undeveloped since at least the mid 1940s.
